Sports Recovery

Sports Recovery refers to techniques and actions taken to maximize your body’s repair from training and competition. These include hydration, nutrition, stretching, soft tissue treatments, and stress management. Recovery is multifaceted and encompasses more than just muscle repair. Recovery involves chemical and hormonal balance, nervous system repair, mental state, and more.

At Resurgent Sports Rehab, we provide Soft Tissue Work as a component of expedited Sports Recovery. Soft Tissue Work is targeted treatment to relieve specific problem areas applied to any of the following:

  • Muscles
  • Tendons
  • Fascia
  • Ligaments

Our Soft Tissue Sessions differ from a traditional massage in that it:

  • Is provided in a training-room style, open floor environment versus private rooms
  • Targets problem areas to yield immediate results versus general full bodywork
  • Can be booked in 15-minute blocks pending on the amount of soft tissue work you need
