Dr. Mike Fitzpatrick, PT,DPT,ATC,OCS,SCS , Sports Physical Therapist
Dr. Fitzpatrick is a Sports Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer helping athletes and individuals reclaim their active lifestyles. He holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Shenandoah University (2018), as well as a Master of Science in Exercise Science from Ithaca College (2014). Throughout his schooling, he has had opportunities to intern with the University of Arizona’s football team, work with United States Special Operations Command, as well as work with athletes preparing for the NFL Combine. Most recently, he held a position as a Sports Physical Therapist at Duke Sports Medicine. In addition to treating in the clinic, he also provided sideline coverage and emergency care to athletes at a local high school alongside their Athletic Trainer.
He is proud to be board certified by the APTA in both Orthopedics and Sports as well as is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete striving for peak performance or someone eager to return to a more active life, he is here to support you on your journey to optimal health and fitness.
Outside of his passion for healthcare, he shares his life with his loving spouse Diana and their two adorable fur babies, Kya and Kona. When he’s not in the clinic, you can often find him staying active through running and weightlifting, binge watching a food network show, or spoiling his pups.
Growing up, Mike participated in a variety of sports including Lacrosse, Soccer, and Running. His passions include working with field sports athletes as well as weightlifters and runners.
